Cadbury has confirmed it will be selling a Vegemite-flavoured block of chocolate.

The unusual flavour combination is “surprisingly delicious”, the company said in a statement posted to its official Twitter account.

Consumers will “rethink chocolate” as a result, the company said.

The salty-sweet combination was first hinted at via a mysterious photo in an online forum in March.

The product will be available from June or earlier, Cadbury said.
