‘Bull***t’: Jamie’s blunt assessment of Paleo Pete
World-famous celebrity chef Jamie Oliver has added to a growing chorus of outrage at paleo advocate Pete Evans and his ‘unsustainable’ diet.
Mr Evans’ paleo recipe book for babies was recently pulled from shelves after a medical expert found at least one of the recipes to have health risks.
“There’s lots of b******t around at the moment,” the celebrity chef told Daily Mail Australia when asked about the paleo trend, which advocates lots of meat and vegetables and no grains or dairy.

“I see world experts every two weeks for three hours on different specialisms … the reality is, these very specific diets are quite unsustainable,” Mr Oliver said.
“Can you have a burger every once and a while? Yeah. Can you have a beer? Yeah!
“Everything in moderation and what you like.”
The 39-year-old chef said a healthy diet was all about balance.
“Balance the rainbow, plants, oily fish, control your meats that are good quality, don’t go nuts about avoiding carbs,” he said.
Mr Oliver made his Australian cooking debut at the Sydney Opera House over the weekend to launch a petition to give poor school children access to food lessons in class.
So far, over 70,000 people have signed up, with the number rising constantly.
Pete Evans is yet to respond to the comments.
