Robbie Campo moves over to Cbus as brand, advocacy and marketing leader

Industry superannuation movement veteran Robbie Campo has joined building industry fund Cbus.
From July 31 she will take up the newly created role of Group Executive – Brand, Advocacy, Marketing and Product.
Cbus CEO David Atkin said Ms Campo brings an impressive set of skills and experience to the post.
“I’m delighted that someone of Robbie’s calibre and experience is joining our team in a senior leadership role”, Mr Atkin said.
“Robbie comes to the fund after almost two decades working in industry superannuation and has extensive experience working within complex regulatory, political, stakeholder and commercial environments.
In her role she will take responsiblity for building the Cbus brand.
“Our point of difference is our strategy of long term innovative investment in the real economy and the built environment – our investments create jobs and secure retirements for our members,” Mr Atkin said

Ms Campo said her long-term involvement in the Joint Industry Fund Marketing Campaign, including the long running Compare the Pair campaign, and her experience in advocating for major reforms such as the Future of Financial Advice reforms and system improvements to address the significant gap in women’s retirement outcomes, positions her well to take on the role at Cbus.

Ms Campo previously served as Deputy CEO of Industry Super Australia and as a non-executive director of IFS. She has had long involvement in the Joint Funds Marketing Campaign, advocating to improve the super system to enhance members’ retirement outcomes.
She is Chair of the National Policy Committee, and a Director, of Women in Super, and a Non Executive Director of Victoria Legal Aid.
