Swift response removes stalker from singer’s home
A Massachusetts man has been sentenced to probation after being found guilty of trespassing at singer Taylor Swift’s seaside mansion in Rhode Island.
Daniel Cole was sentenced on Thursday to a year of probation on a trespassing charge and six months of probation on a disorderly conduct charge.
A judge also ordered the 39-year-old Massachusetts man to have no contact with Swift, and to stay away from her house.
The Westerly Sun reports Cole was arrested March 20 at Swift’s property in Westerly.
Police say he told security that Swift had invited him to visit and to tell the guards that she said it was OK.
When police arrived, he began swearing and refused their orders.
Police say it was the third time he showed up at the home.
