Campbell and Franklin wed in secret ceremony

Model Jesinta Campbell has wed AFL player Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin in a secret ceremony.
The pair tied the knot surrounded by close friends, with each posting an image to their respective Instagram accounts.
The snap shows Campbell in a long, nude Vera Wang gown with a sheer overlay, and the footballer in a black suit.
Campbell, who has since changed her Instagram name to Jesinta Franklin, captioned the image, “Mr and Mrs Franklin”, while the footballer wrote, “My love”.
Guest Mark Evans posted some images from the top-secret nuptials, one showing Campbell in a more low-key, white gown.

Another friend of the model’s, Elliott Garnaut, posted an image of Campbell looking ecstatic in her tulle gown.
The pair became engaged in 2014, but delayed the wedding due to Franklin’s struggle with mental illness.
Franklin, a former Hawthorn star who moved to the Sydney Swans in 2014, took time off in 2015 to cope with his highly-publicised battle with depression.
At the time, Campbell said she was “incredibly proud” of her fiancé’s “strength and courage” in speaking out about the disease.
“We are not alone in this. My heart is with my man,” she wrote in a social media post.
Franklin returned to the football field in 2016, leading the side to a heartbreaking loss against home-favourites the Western Bulldogs in the grand final.
Traditionally private, it is not yet known if the couple will sell their wedding images to a magazine.
