Former Australian Miss Universe contestant Jesinta Campbell has recalled an awkward encounter with pageant owner-turned-presidential-candidate Donald Trump.
Campbell, who came second runner-up in the 2010 pageant, told KIIS FM’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show she met the mogul backstage at the pageant and teased him about his trademark combover.
The 25-year-old said Trump attempted to brush her hair during the staged photo opportunity in Las Vegas, but she rebuked his efforts.
“He actually put a comb to my hair,” Campbell said. “It was just a set-up shot backstage.”
“I said: ‘With hair like that, I think you can keep your comb to yourself!'”

While Campbell said she didn’t encounter any “creepiness” from Trump, she admitted she was a supporter of Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.
“Go Hillary, girl power all the way! Great to see a female president of the United States,” she said.
Campbell’s comments come after former Miss Universe winner Jennifer Hawkins cancelled some media commitments to avoid answering questions about the Republican candidate.
“Jennifer is not interested and will not be commenting on Donald Trump,” Hawkins’ manager Sean Anderson said.
“She is not interested in getting involved in the politics.”
