HBO drops lots of Game of Thrones hints
The new 'Red Woman'.
As excitement for Game of Thrones season 6 reaches fever pitch, HBO has dropped a considerable load of content to sate audiences until April 24.
The series has now officially moved past George R.R. Martin’s original books, with fans now only able to speculate about what’s in store for the vulnerable characters still standing.

• What we know about GoT season 6
Ahead of the first episode of the new season, we’ve been give a new two-minute trailer plus three sneak-peek clips to obsessively dissect.
Watch the new trailer below:
Here’s what the trailer tells us.
Jon Snow is really, really, (basically) dead
The question on everyone’s lips since his betrayal and murder by the Night’s Watch: “Is Jon Snow really gone?”
Ominously, Kit Harington was not present at the season six premiere in Los Angeles.
While cast members are adamant we all need to get over the pretty-faced hero, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) made an apparent slip-up on the premiere red carpet.

“It’s going to be interesting to see when people find out what happened … how dead he is … I mean he’s dead … dead dead,” stuttered the actor.
The trailer doesn’t bode well for Snow, who lies motionless on the ground.
“I thought he was the man to lead us through the long night, but I was wrong,” the voice of Davos Seaworth can be heard saying.
Sansa is ready to roll
After suffering almost the most of any character last season, poor Sansa Stark is free of husband Ramsay Bolton and on the run with a partially-redeemed Reek (Theon Greyjoy).
One of the clips shows Theon and Sansa running from a pack of hounds, presumably just after she’s escaped Bolton’s clutches.
The trailer suggests Sansa is ready to exact revenge on the men who ruined her life.
It also looks like Stannis Baratheon’s former sidekick Ser Davos Seaworth is Sansa’s new ally. He rides with the Stark banner flying behind him.
The new ‘Red Woman’.
A new Red Woman
Last season the beautiful, manipulative and exceedingly cruel Melisandre played a large part in Stannis Baratheon’s quest for the throne.
Now, there looks to be a new Red Woman on the scene – played by the equally beautiful Ania Bukstein.
Bukstein is seen walking away from Tyrion and Varys with a smug, satisfied smile on her face.
Dany’s dragons are her only hope
Daenerys can be seen walking with a large group of Dothraki people towards a Dothraki temple.
One of the soldiers greets her as Khaleesi, others appear hostile.
One of her massive dragons, likely Drogon, flies over what looks to be the same area as Daenerys.

The remnant
Arya Stark is still working for Jaqen H’ghar (the Faceless Man) and has been given a “second chance”, Jorah Mormont tries to hide a fast-spreading Greyscale affliction, Cersei Lannister prepares her song, King Tommen prepares for war, Davos readies for an onslaught of White Walkers and it’s really hard to know what the hell is happening with Bran Stark.
It’s going to get ugly
“It’s definitely the biggest [action sequence yet],” Thrones writer-producer Bryan Cogman told Entertainment Weekly of the unknown battle seen in the trailer.
“We’ve always wanted to get to a place – story-wise and budget-wise and time-wise and resource-wise – where we would be able to do a proper battle, with one army on one side, one army on another side.”
We don’t know who’s fighting, but there’ll be plenty of blood.
