Game of Thrones star teases Jon Snow ‘twist’

We only have three months until we find out whether fan favourite Jon Snow (played by Kit Harington) survives his apparent season five death on HBO hit Game of Thrones.

Until the show’s return on April 24 this year, speculation about Snow’s fate will continue, with the latest revelation coming from his on-screen little sister, Maisie Williams.

Williams, who plays Snow’s half-sister Arya Stark, has let slip that viewers can expect a big, Jon Snow-related twist in season six.

During an interview with online magazine The Upcoming on the red carpet at the London Film Critics’ Circle Awards this week, Williams was hit with the usual questions about Snow, who was killed in a mutiny by his fellow Night’s Watch comrades.

“It was awful. It was awful,” Williams said of the shock cliffhanger, which ended the finale episode of season five.

“Everyone was so sad about it, and I feel so mean because I speak to people and they’re all like, ‘Jon Snow, is he back?’

“And it’s really heartbreaking because people are like, ‘Yeah, but he’s coming back though?’

“It’s a great twist, but I can’t say he’s going to be alive.”
