ABC’s Leigh Sales fires back at critics in tweet
Leigh Sales
Host of ABC’s 7.30 Leigh Sales is well-known for her acerbic wit on Twitter.
Now, she’s hit back at her critics in a creative way, tweeting out a template for a feedback form to aid disgruntled viewers and tweeters in sharing their complaints.
• Q&A: the candidates who could replace Tony Jones
• ABC ‘partisan’ says Shorten’s office
Poking fun at the fact female TV hosts are constantly criticised for their clothing choices, Sales also added a section for commentary on her outfits.
“To save time, please save this handy template for use in commentating future #abc730 interviews!,” Sales tweeted.
Her template states: “Leigh Sales went too hard/too soft in her interview last night and she is a left-wing stooge/right-wing fascist.
“Her outfit was gross/awesome/reminiscent of a bag lady.
“Bring Back Kerry O’Brien/Chris Uhlmann/that guy who plays the piano with the puppet.”
