The Zoolander 2 trailer has been released, and it is an epic two minutes of nonsense.

Although it doesn’t give much away, it’s clear that Derek is still ridiculously good looking, and hasn’t changed much since we first met him in 2001.

The trailer opens with a trip through time and the cosmos, taking us through the entire history of the world, right up until Derek Zoolander enters the frame.

Stiller, as Derek, proves he can still give a perfect ‘blue steel’, all while struggling to understand the title of his own movie.

Eventually the narrator gives up in frustration, telling Derek “you are so freakin’ stupid it’s insane”.

While it’s great to see Stiller back in his most famous role in the trailer, nothing is revealed of the plot, leading one commenter to ask, “What is this, a trailer for ants?”

In March, the world learned that both Stiller and his partner in crime, Owen Wilson, would be resuming their roles as Derek and Hansel when the pair walked the runway at a Valentino show.

The sequel to 2001’s Zoolander will be released in 2016.
