Controversial radio host Kyle Sandilands has criticised a routine visit from RSPCA officers as akin to them ‘showing up like special forces’.
He and partner Imogen Anthony were accused by an anonymous person or persons of mistreating the horses, alpacas, chickens and a bull contained at their hobby farm in St Ives, Sydney.

“They’ve come out yesterday, with all the kit on, showed up like the SAS – they’ve got some good outfits, I tell you,” Sandidlands told listeners to the Kyle & Jackie O show on Thursday morning.

The officers found no animal welfare concerns, an RSPCA spokeswoman told The New Daily.
“Every year the RSPCA in New South Wales receives around 15,000 complaints of animal cruelty,” the spokeswoman said.
“While most of these don’t amount to a breach of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, they must all be investigated.”
Ms Anthony frequently posts photos of the animals on social media.
