Look out ladies. Johnny Depp is on Australian soil and single, if various reports are to be believed.

According to People magazine, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor and his 29-year-old wife, Amber Heard, have separated after just two months of marriage.

The pair met in 2011 on the set of The Rum Diary, and became engaged in 2012.

They married on February 3, but have reportedly spent most of their time as a married couple apart.

The 51-year-old, who split from his long-time girlfriend Vanessa Paradis in 2012, is currently on the Gold Coast filming the fifth instalment of the Pirates of the Caribbean series.

According to the New York Post, Heard’s friendship with photographer and gay activist iO Tillett Wright has put strain on the marriage, with Depp reportedly unhappy about the amount of time the two spend together.

Heard, who is openly bisexual, celebrated her 29th birthday in New York this week, where her husband was noticeably absent.

In an Instagram post on Heard’s birthday, Wright praised her “dear friend” for “her performances, for defying stereotype, and for being a strong, out bisexual woman”.
