Gabi Grecko charged with obscene exposure
Famous-for-being-famous socialite Gabi Grecko faces up to two years in prison for strolling naked through the busy streets of Melbourne.
The US-born socialite, who claims to have secretly married businessman Geoffrey Edelsten, has been charged by Victoria Police with wilful and obscene exposure.

“Gabi is sorry she has done it, but said she wanted to tick it off her bucket list,” her manager Trish Maskaric told Fairfax Media.
The charges against Grecko, 25, stem from her early morning walk along Swanston and Exhibition streets in December last year, dressed only in a green wig and a wedding veil.
“She has learnt her lesson and won’t do it again,” Ms Maskaric said.
If Grecko’s lawyers attempt to fight the charge, it’s likely the only available defences would be duress or mental impairment.
The police prosecutor will only need to prove she wilfully and obscenely exposed her genital area in view of a public place, which is obvious from widely circulated footage of the incident.
Grecko is due to appear in Melbourne Magistrates Court on May 5.
