In a statement, the King County medical examiner’s office said on Friday that the 32-year-old woman died on October 5, the day her family told police that the Native American actress was suicidal.

Relatives reported her missing the next day. The medical examiner said the cause and manner of death are pending investigation.

Police spokesman Steve Stocker said the body was found on Thursday near the White River.

Items with Upham’s name on them were reportedly found nearby.

He said there was no evidence of foul play.

A family friend among a group of friends and family searching the area found the body.
