French actress Lea Seydoux is set to bring a international edge to the James Bond film franchise.
According to the Mail Online, the 29-year-old has been cast as the next Bond girl in the 24th instalment of the popular series, joining the likes of former Bond girls such as Ursula Andress, Halle Berry and Kim Basinger.
Seydoux has an extensive film repertoire, including Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, Quentin Tarantino’s Inglorious Basterds and last year’s Cannes indie favourite, Blue is the Warmest Colour.
The Parisienne will join a cast including current Bond star Daniel Craig, along with Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw and Naomie Harris.
The film will reportedly start production in six weeks time.
