Helen Mirren ‘insulted’ her phone wasn’t hacked
British actress Dame Helen Mirren has said she felt “insulted” when news of a celebrity nude photo leak broke, because her phone was excluded from the mass hacking.

“I was rather insulted my phone wasn’t hacked, actually,” the 69-year-old told Magic FM radio station.
“I kept desperately looking at the list of people whose phones were hacked, hoping to see my name.”
However, it is unlikely hackers would have uncovered any incriminating material belonging to Mirren, who said she was confused by the concept of nude selfies.
“Who on earth would put nude photos of themselves on their phone anyway? That I don’t quite get,” she admitted.
The Oscar winner also had advice for the 101 celebrities targeted in the hacking, including Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence and model Kate Upton.
“The best thing is to be superior and not take it too seriously,” Mirren said.
“I think we’re all in a learning curve about what is appropriate to put on your phone and what isn’t and I think people will be far more careful in the future.”
“It’s insulting and stupid to hack phones.”
