J-Lo joins Aussie X-Factor as guest judge

Pop warbler Jennifer Lopez has agreed to a guest stint on Australia’s The X-Factor series.

But the diva, who recently performed at the 2014 World Cup opening ceremony in Brazil, admits she can’t pick the difference between a Kiwi and an Aussie accent.

“(Your accents) do sound a little similar to us, you know, when you hear them side by side. Please don’t be mad at us!,” J-Lo told told reporters, adding that she’s a big Keith Urban fan.

The Latin American songstress will appear on three episodes of The X-Factor, the latest series of which begins in July.

She’ll be a guest judge during the `home visits’ bit, where coach’s teams visit a star for mentoring.

The X-Factor’s main judges will again be Redfoo, Dannii Minogue, Ronan Keating and Natalie Bassingthwaighte.
